A fast-growing, multi-state distributor of high-quality fasteners and hardware is seeking an experienced-On Road Account Manager to join its Melbourne-based team. This is an exciting opportunity to manage an established territory across Victoria while driving new business growth in the construction and industrial sectors.

Reporting directly to senior leadership, you'll play a key role in building long-term customer relationships and contributing to the company's continued expansion.

About the Role

You will be responsible for managing a defined VIC territory, maintaining existing accounts, and proactively developing new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales plans to achieve revenue targets
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within your territory
• Build strong, long-term relationships with key clients
• Provide technical product advice and demonstrations
• Assist with order coordination, logistics and fulfilment when required
• Monitor market activity and customer trends
• Complete regular call cycle reporting and sales forecasts

About You

• 2-3 years' experience in field-based B2B sales
• Experience in fasteners, building materials or industrial sectors preferred (but not essential)
• Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills
• Self-motivated, organised and results-driven
• Technically minded with the ability to learn product specifications
• Confident using Outlook and Microsoft Office
• Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel across Victoria
• Australian work rights or valid visa
• Must be based in Victoria (Melbourne/Braeside area)
