An outstanding opportunity is now available for an experienced Sales Engineer to join the Perth team based in Kewdale, representing globally recognised industrial equipment solutions with a global company. The business is a market leader in Original equipment manufacturer of industrial and capital equipment solutions servicing mining, industrial and manufacturing sectors across WA.

This role will suit a technically minded sales professional who enjoys building long-term customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities and managing solution-based capital equipment sales from initial enquiry through to project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and grow new and existing customer relationships across WA
  
• Sell industrial and capital equipment solutions into mining, industrial and manufacturing sectors
  
• Prepare technical proposals, quotations and solution recommendations
  
• Conduct client visits, site inspections and technical presentations
  
• Work closely with internal engineering and service teams
  
• Manage sales pipeline and project opportunities from enquiry to close
  
• Identify opportunitie to support growth

About you:

• Previous experience in technical sales, sales engineering, capital equipment sales, original equipment manufacturer.
  
• Background in compressors, pumps, hydraulics, pneumatics, rotating equipment or industrial machinery highly regarded
  
• Strong commercial acumen and relationship-building ability
  
• Ability to read technical specifications and provide engineered solutions
  
• Self-motivated with strong territory management skills
  
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
  
• Current driver's licence
