Are you a proactive professional with exceptional customer service skills with operational expertise? Being in the business of engineering for over 40 years, you can play a pivotal role in ensuring a positive customer experience while driving efficiency in warehouse and logistics operations.

Role

This role is designed to provide an outstanding customer experience by meeting and exceeding customer requirements. Working collaboratively with warehouse operations and external sales teams, you'll help achieve customer satisfaction and meet critical deadlines.

Key Responsibilities will include:

• Process orders and provide face-to-face customer service for walk-ins
• Prepare and follow up on quotes, manage inbound/outbound calls, and respond to website and Live Chat inquiries
• Oversee hire equipment processes and manage shared and personal email inboxes
• Liaise with logistics teams, freight providers, and external sales teams to ensure smooth operations
• Handle account applications, follow up debtors, and process business opportunities in CRM
• Reconcile petty cash, submit CEAs, and complete required training
• Manage credit increases, goods return/credit processes, and customer agreements
• Warehouse coordination in absence of Warehouse Coordinator

• High-level attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to foster effective relationships
• Proficiency with ERP systems (IFS preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong interpersonal skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
• Valid forklift license or willing to obtain one
• A safety-first mentality with a commitment to leading by example
