This is a genuine succession opportunity for someone who enjoys leading from the front, takes pride in running an organised warehouse, and is ready to step up and take ownership of warehouse operations.

About the Opportunity

Working closely with the leadership team, you'll initially oversee day-to-day warehouse activities while learning the broader operational responsibilities of the business. As you become established in the role, you'll have the opportunity to take on greater leadership responsibilities and grow into the Warehouse Manager position.

This is a hands-on role where you'll lead by example while helping drive efficiency, accuracy and continuous improvement across the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations and workflow
• Lead and support a small warehouse team
• Receive and unload incoming stock and containers
• Check, reconcile and accurately receipt deliveries
• Manage stock locations and warehouse organisation
• Coordinate picking, packing and dispatch activities
• Manage freight bookings and carrier relationships
• Assist with inventory control and stock accuracy
• Maintain high standards of safety, housekeeping and presentation
• Work within and help optimise the company's ERP and inventory systems
• Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes and efficiencies

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in a Warehouse Supervisor, Team Leader, 2IC or Senior Storeperson role
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control and dispatch processes
• Natural leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support a team
• Hands-on approach and willingness to work alongside the team
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• Forklift licence and warehouse equipment experience preferred
• Someone looking for a long-term career opportunity with room to grow
