Operations Coordinator
Full Time | Monday-Friday (38 hours)
Company Car Provided | Minimal Driving Required
We're seeking an experienced Operations Coordinator to join a structured and supportive operations team, managing export and import shipments from start to finish.
This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with freight forwarding or logistics experience who enjoys ownership, accuracy and delivering high-level customer service.
The Role
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will:

Coordinate export & import shipments end-to-end

Liaise with customers, suppliers and overseas offices

Ensure compliance with Australian customs regulations and internal QMS procedures

Arrange transport and monitor shipments to meet customer KPIs

Maintain accurate system updates and tracking information

Manage invoicing within set timeframes

Review files for correct costing and profitability

Communicate proactively with customers regarding any changes or delays
About You

Previous freight forwarding / logistics experience (essential)

Strong understanding of import processes

Excellent attention to detail

Confident communicator (written and verbal)

Strong IT skills (Word, Excel and internal systems)

Ability to manage multiple deadlines with a proactive mindset

Dangerous Goods knowledge (advantageous)
