Our client, located in Cranbourne West, is a steel manufacturer that is currently seeking experienced Machine Operators & Forklift Drivers to join their team on day and afternoon shift.

Forklift Driver: 6am - 2:36pm Mon to Thurs & 6am - 11:36am Fri
Machine Op: 2:30pm - 11:06pm Mon to Thurs & 11:30am - 5:06pm Fri

Your responsibilities will include:

• Loading and unload machines with sheet metal
• Operate the slitting machine to cut coils of steel
• Operating a forklift to move stock around
• Maintaining a clean workstation
• General labouring as required.

Our ideal candidate will have the following:

• A forklift licence essential for forklift role, beneficial for machine op role
• Previous experience operating a slitter machine highly advantageous
• Be able to do manual handling and heavy lifting
• Good work ethic and be self-motivated
• Be able to work independently
• Have a high level of commitment and detail
• Excellent verbal and written English skills
