About the role
Based in Inner West Suburbs, a leading milling, manufacturing, and distributor of flour-based food products are looking for a Lab technician join their team. The successful candidate will initially join the team as an on-hired employee on day shift, 4 days per week, 8am - 4pm, however, the right person will be considered for a permanent role.
Duties
- Assisting with product testing and documentation
- General cleaning of designated areas and machinery
- The ability to adhere to strict OH&S guidelines and procedures
- Manual handling and lifting of equipment
Skills and experience
- Monitor and enforce hygiene, GMP, and food safety standards, providing corrective feedback as required.
- Have great attention to detail and the ability to provide a high standard of work
- Comfortable with manual labour
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Food manufacturing or baking experience (advantageous)
