About the Role

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced and motivated Inside Sales Specialist to join a well-established global organisation operating within the industrial and engineering sector.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing inbound enquiries, qualifying opportunities, preparing quotations, and supporting customers throughout the sales process. Working closely with sales teams and distribution partners, you will play a key role in driving customer engagement and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to inbound customer enquiries via phone, web, chat, and digital channels
  • Qualify sales opportunities using a structured consultative approach
  • Create and manage opportunities within a CRM system
  • Prepare and issue budgetary quotations for customers
  • Coordinate and hand over qualified opportunities to field sales teams and distribution partners
  • Follow up on leads and nurture prospective customers through the sales process
  • Support prospect generation activities through tender portals and online platforms
  • Assist in expanding existing customer relationships and identifying new business opportunities
  • Maintain accurate customer and opportunity data within CRM systems
  • Provide feedback on lead quality, customer trends, and market opportunities
  • Assist with managing and responding to internal sales support enquiries


About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • 2-5 years' experience in Inside Sales, Sales Support, Customer Service, or Commercial Operations
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience working with CRM systems (Salesforce experience highly regarded)
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and a high volume of enquiries
  • A proactive and customer-focused approach
  • Strong commercial awareness and willingness to learn


Highly Regarded

  • Experience within industrial, engineering, manufacturing, or technical B2B environments
  • Exposure to quotation preparation and sales administration
  • Understanding of aftermarket, service, or equipment sales environments
