Due to growth my client is currently recruiting for a Field Service Tech (Heavy Diesel Mechanic) to join their highly successful team. Take the reins, look after and build designated territory for the Ivanhoe/Kew location!!!

What are the perks?

• 7:30 - 4pm Monday to Friday
• Optional Overtime on Saturdays - you choose!!!!
• Opportunity to grow the customer base as well as progression to move into other roles within the business
• $50 per hour + Overtime and usual benefits (ute, phone, laptop etc)

Key Duties:

• Promptly attend breakdowns
• Efficiently plan, schedule and execute routine preventative maintenance
• Efficiently manage all allocated work schedules & tasks
• Complete in full, routine inspections, servicing & repairs, including ordering of parts
• Regularly report progress on each job and quickly communicate delays or concerns with the customer
• Report on labour and parts overruns or shortfalls
• Professionally engage with customers to build long lasting & high quality relationships

To be successful:

• Hydraulic experience is required for this role
• Trade qualification - diesel mechanic
• Experience working with Trucks & Earth Moving Equipment
• Forklift license , High risk EWP / Scissor lift license and Truck license
• Working autonomously as well as under instruction
• Organized and able to meet deadlines
• Display a positive attitude and be an active member of the team
• Physically fit and able, light / moderate lifting is required
