The Role
We're seeking an experienced Accounts Officer who understands double-entry bookkeeping and understands foreign currency concepts. Other day to day responsibilities will include:
- Managing accounts payable - posting supplier invoices, match invoices to purchase orders, reconcile AP ledger, resolve discrepancies
- Assist in prepare documentation for exports
- Manage GL - posting of non-PO supplier invoices
- Expense Claims - processing of expense reimbursement of claims
- Credit cards - post entries and reconcile to monthly statement
- Prepare new supplier credit application form
- Reconcile Intercompany ledgers for Australian arm of business
You
To be considered, you will have proven experience in a collaborative accounting environment in a similar role. The following attributes will also be highly regarded:
- Prior experience in bookkeeping and/or accounts officer, preferably within manufacturing
- Quick to pick up new systems and procedures
- Strong MS Office Suite skills
- Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
- Strong time management and attention to detail is a must
- Knowledge and experience with foreign currency concepts
