The Role

We're seeking an experienced Accounts Officer who understands double-entry bookkeeping and understands foreign currency concepts. Other day to day responsibilities will include:

• Managing accounts payable - posting supplier invoices, match invoices to purchase orders, reconcile AP ledger, resolve discrepancies
• Assist in prepare documentation for exports
• Manage GL - posting of non-PO supplier invoices
• Expense Claims - processing of expense reimbursement of claims
• Credit cards - post entries and reconcile to monthly statement
• Prepare new supplier credit application form
• Reconcile Intercompany ledgers for Australian arm of business

You

To be considered, you will have proven experience in a collaborative accounting environment in a similar role. The following attributes will also be highly regarded:

• Prior experience in bookkeeping and/or accounts officer, preferably within manufacturing
• Quick to pick up new systems and procedures
• Strong MS Office Suite skills
• Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
• Strong time management and attention to detail is a must
• Knowledge and experience with foreign currency concepts
