We are seeking an experienced and qualified Workplace Health and Safety Assessor to join our team on a short-term casual basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated professional to ensure compliance of our safety system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive workplace health and safety assessments in compliance with relevant legislation and standards.
- Identify hazards, evaluate risks, and recommend practical control measures.
- Prepare detailed assessment reports and documentation.
- Collaborate with external and internal personnel.
- Provide clear communication and training where necessary.
Requirements:
- Relevant qualification in Workplace Health and Safety.
- Proven experience in workplace safety assessments and audits.
- Strong knowledge of Victorian OH&S laws and regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and report writing skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
- Must have own vehicle and be prepared to attend site visits.
Details:
- Duration: 5 weeks
- Location: Melbourne, with site visits (KM rate paid)
- $55 per hour + Superannuation
- Potential of ongoing periodic assessment requirements
