About the Role
Based in their Cheltenham distribution centre, the Warehouse Manager will oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring seamless storage, handling, and dispatch of all products. This leadership role involves managing a dedicated team, optimising inventory processes, and maintaining high safety and efficiency standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise warehouse operations, ensuring accurate stock control and timely order fulfillment.
- Lead, train, and motivate warehouse staff to achieve key performance targets.
- Implement best practices to enhance space utilisation and operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) standards and company policies.
- Coordinate logistics with suppliers and freight companies to guarantee smooth deliveries.
- Identify and implement process improvements for greater productivity and cost-effectiveness.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar leadership role in logistics/distribution.
- Strong knowledge of stock control, inventory management, and warehouse best practices.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a focus on continuous improvement.
- Understanding of WHS legislation, manual handling, and workplace safety regulations.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise workloads, and work under pressure.
Desirable Skills:
- Forklift license (LF) and experience with warehouse machinery.
- Familiarity with Chain of Responsibility (CoR) regulations.
- Experience with ERP/WMS systems.
- Background in freight and logistics coordination.
