Our client is a leading provider of communications products and services within the commercial, government and telecommunications sectors. Due to continued growth, an opportunity exists for a Trainee Installation Technician to join the team based in Sunshine West.
The Role
The installation team supports a large variety of communication products. They provide services to a diverse customer base requiring the Installation Technician to be able to demonstrate a dynamic skills approach. You will work with and support each other business units to deliver outcome for their customers.
To be considered for an interview, a mix of the following experience and qualification will be desirable:
- Some knowledge of digital and analogue radio technologies
- Understanding of basic IP networking and IP linking
- Some exposure to installation, maintenance and programming of radio technologies (Motorola, Tait, Icom, Kenwood)
- Some experience in automotive electronics and accessories installation
- Valid drivers license
You:
As an Installation Technician, you will be able to demonstrate the key qualities required of a person to succeed in the ever-growing industries they serve. You will also be comfortable supporting others and be able to manage complex telecommunications installation work.
