An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced and motivated Senior Procurement Support Officer to join a well-established manufacturer and wholesale business based in Caulfield. About the Role
Working within an approachable and supportive team, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement processes to ensure the timely and cost-effective supply of goods and materials. You will play a key role in maintaining supplier relationships, monitoring stock levels, and supporting operational needs across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Source, negotiate, and purchase materials, products, and services
- Manage supplier relationships and performance
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment
- Raise and track purchase orders
- Liaise with internal teams including production, sales, and logistics
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement procedures
About You
- Previous experience in a procurement or purchasing role (ideally within manufacturing or wholesale)
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with ERP systems, although training can be provided
- A proactive and solutions-focused mindset
