Safety Business Partner

Imagine finishing work and being close to some of Queensland's best beaches, fishing spots, national parks and coastal communities - while building your career with a respected industrial operation.

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Safety Business Partner to support operations across the Sarina and Proserpine sites, with regular travel between locations. This is a hands-on role partnering closely with leaders and frontline teams to drive a strong and positive safety culture across multiple operations.

You'll play a key role in:

• Partnering with operational leaders to improve workplace safety performance
• Supporting safety systems, compliance activities and continuous improvement initiatives
• Conducting audits, inspections and incident investigations
• Coordinating toolbox talks, training and safety initiatives
• Managing risk registers, corrective actions and hazard reporting
• Supporting rehabilitation and return-to-work processes
• Assisting with emergency response coordination and preparedness
• Driving behavioural safety programs and positive safety engagement across sites

About You

You are a confident and approachable safety professional who enjoys building relationships and influencing positive change within operational environments.

You will ideally have:

• Experience in WHS/SHE/EHS roles within industrial, manufacturing, mining, construction or heavy industry environments
• Strong understanding of Australian safety legislation and risk management principles
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to work autonomously across multiple sites
• Certificate IV in WHS minimum (Diploma highly regarded)

Qualifications & Experience Highly Regarded

• Cert IV in Training & Assessing
• Cert IV in OHS/WHS
• Occupational or Senior First Aid
• Rehabilitation and Return to Work Certificate
• Confined Space Entry
• Safe Working at Heights
