Program Manager - Private Practice
Location: Parkville, VIC (with flexible work options)
Role: Full-time (38 hrs/week) / 12-month fixed-term contract

Our client is looking for a Program Manager - Private Practice to lead the charge.

In this position, you'll take the lead in building and refining a suite of services designed to help private practice doctors run effective, compliant and thriving practices. From HR/IR resources to online learning, templated toolkits, practice management support and onboarding tools for early career specialists, you'll shape offerings that respond to real needs and drive meaningful outcomes.

You'll collaborate closely with marketing, partnerships, workplace relations, wellbeing and careers teams, plus external subject-matter experts, a great opportunity to innovate and bring new ideas to life.

What you'll be doing

• Leading the strategy and ongoing development of private practice services, identifying gaps, scoping new offerings and producing annual work plans.
• Designing, piloting and rolling out high-quality resources: toolkits, templates, manuals, online webinars/modules, orientation materials and more.
• Working with marketing to develop engagement campaigns, branding and communications that speak directly to the private practice community.
• Partnering with the Strategic Partnerships Manager to onboard and liaise with preferred providers, ensuring they're well-integrated into service offerings.
• Ensuring seamless collaboration with wellbeing, careers and workplace relations teams so support remains holistic and tailored.
• Managing projects and programs from end to end: planning, risk assessment, implementation, monitoring, evaluation and continuous improvement.
• Tracking engagement, uptake and user feedback, and using that insight to refine offerings and strengthen private practice engagement.
• Learning and understanding career paths for trainee doctors to identify transition paints and decision drivers."

Who you are

• Tertiary qualified with project or program management experience.
• Understanding of (or ability to quickly learn) the private practice environment: GPs, specialists, registrars, practice owners/managers.
• A natural stakeholder engager who thrives in cross-functional environments.
• Organised, strategic, adaptable and solutions focused.
• Comfortable collaborating with marketing teams on campaigns and communication strategies.
• A clear and confident communicator with a proactive, energetic approach.

Bonus points if you have: experience with partnerships or preferred providers, membership-based organisations, wellbeing or workforce support services, or digital platforms/CMS/online learning tools.
