Job Details

As a manufacturer and wholesaler of innovative retail products this successful company has a strong footprint in both local and international markets. They are now on the lookout for a driven Procurement Officer to join their high-performing team.

Reporting to the Head of Procurement, you will play a key role in managing end-to-end procurement activities, ensuring purchase orders, supplier performance, and tendering processes are executed efficiently and accurately to maximise commercial outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Raise, track, and manage purchase orders using MS Dynamics
  • Monitor delivery timelines, resolve delays, and maintain accurate procurement records
  • Liaise with approved suppliers to confirm specifications, lead times, and contract terms
  • Support continuous improvement of procurement tools, systems, and frameworks
  • Assist with end-to-end tendering processes, from document preparation through to supplier award
  • Contribute to planned tendering activities as prioritised by the Head of Procurement

What will you need?

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Proactive mindset with a passion for process improvement and structure
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with suppliers and internal stakeholders
  • Sound commercial acumen with experience in sourcing, negotiation, and supplier management
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in procurement and production management, ideally within consumer goods or retail
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
