Our client is a leading industrial distributor located in Dandenong, currently looking for an office all-rounder to join their team on a casual basis working approx. 25hrs per week with the view for more permanent work down the line. The role is an office-based role with some flexibility with start and finish times. Potential hours could be 9am - 2pm Mon to Fri OR 10am - 3pm Mon to Fri (open to discussion).
In this role you will ensure the smooth operation of the office, handling various responsibilities including general administration, freight and logistics coordination, data entry, and effective communication within the team and with external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct general office administration, including filing and data entry
- Coordinate freight and logistics to ensure timely deliveries
- Manage daily office upkeep
- Handle emails, follow up on payments, and verify price accuracy
- Act as the main point of contact for all business inquiries
- Assist with basic invoicing using systems such as MYOB
- Liaise with project managers and support the Managing Director
Essential Requirements:
- Previous experience in an administrative role
- Strong understanding of business operations and office management
- Professional demeanour with excellent communication skills for interacting with project managers and other stakeholders
