Located in Cranbourne West, this steel manufacturer is seeking experienced Machine Operators with a forklift licence to join their team to operate their slitting machine. The successful candidates will join the team on a day shift working 6am - 2:36pm Mon to Thurs & 6am - 11:36am Fri.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Loading and unload machines with sheet metal
• Operate the slitting machine to cut coils of steel
• Operating a forklift to move stock around
• Maintaining a clean workstation
• General labouring as required.

Our ideal candidate will have the following:

• A forklift licence
• Previous experience operating a slitter machine highly advantageous
• Be able to do manual handling and heavy lifting
• Good work ethic and be self-motivated
• Be able to work independently
• Have a high level of commitment and detail
• Excellent verbal and written English skills
