Account Management Pathway Role - Major Customer Focus

This is your opportunity to join a nationally recognised leader in the building and construction industry, supporting and growing a major local account while developing into a fully-fledged Account Manager.

This role sits at the heart of the customer relationship. You'll be the key link between clients, Account Managers, and internal teams, ensuring every interaction adds value and strengthens long-term partnerships.

What You'll Be Doing - Act as a primary day-to-day contact for a major customer accounts

* Build trusted relationships with builders and trade clients
* Understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions
* Prepare accurate, competitive quotes aligned to client requirements
* Proactively follow up on opportunities and identify growth areas
* Support account strategy and revenue targets
* Ensure seamless order processing from quote through to delivery
* Resolve customer queries quickly and professionally
* Maintain regular communication to enhance customer satisfaction and retention

This is more than sales support, it's relationship management with clear ownership and accountability.

Who You Are

Experience in customer service, sales support, account coordination or estimating (construction industry advantageous)

* Naturally relationship-driven and customer-first in your approach
* Confident communicator who builds trust easily
* Commercially aware with strong attention to detail
* Solutions-focused and proactive
* Organised and capable of managing multiple priorities
* Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
