We're partnering with a large, well-established industrial business in Keysborough with a sizeable blue-collar workforce.

They're looking for a confident HR Advisor / HR Officer or HR Business Partner, who is comfortable supporting supervisors, and managing real employee relations matters in a fast-paced operational environment.


What you'll be doing

  • Providing day-to-day HR support to supervisors and operational managers
  • Managing ER matters including performance, conduct, investigations and terminations
  • Interpreting Awards, EBAs and workplace legislation
  • Managing end-to-end onboarding and offboarding of employees
  • Supporting and overseeing weekly payroll processes and ensuring compliance with Awards/EBAs
  • Supporting recruitment and workforce planning for trades and operators
  • Coaching leaders on handling people issues correctly and confidently
  • Maintaining HR compliance, records, systems and reporting
  • Being present on site, supporting workforce engagement

What we're looking for

  • 3+ years in a HR Advisor / HR Officer role within industrial / blue-collar environments
  • SAP or Oracle experience highly regarded
  • Solid understanding of Awards, EBAs, payroll compliance and Fair Work legislation
  • Strong ER experience and confidence handling difficult conversations
  • Experience managing payroll, onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Experience supporting operational leaders, supervisors or production managers
  • Someone comfortable being visible on site and building rapport with frontline staff
  • Practical, calm, and solutions-focused approach
