The Opportunity

We're partnering with an innovative company in the technology space that is scaling quickly and looking for a hands-on HR Manager to establish and run their HR function.

This is a full-time, office-based role (5 days) suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment and enjoys wearing multiple hats.

What You'll Be Doing

• Own the end-to-end recruitment process - job ads, screening, interviews, onboarding
• Set up and manage HR processes, policies, and procedures from scratch
• Handle contracts, employee records, and HR administration
• Coordinate payroll with external providers
• Ensure compliance with Australian employment laws (Fair Work, super, leave, etc.)
• Act as the go-to person for employee support and queries
• Help build a positive, engaging workplace culture

What We're Looking For

• 1-3 years' HR experience within Australia
• Solid understanding of Australian employment legislation
• Experience across full-cycle recruitment
• A self-starter who enjoys autonomy and variety
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• High attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple priorities

Nice to Have

• Experience in a startup or small business environment
• Exposure to HR systems / software

Requirements

• Must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or have full, unrestricted working rights
