The Role

Based in Tennyson, you'll play a key role in keeping production running efficiently by maintaining and repairing plant equipment while ensuring safety and reliability remain a priority.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance across production equipment
• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults to minimise downtime
• Supporting production through reliable equipment performance
• Assisting with continuous improvement initiatives and plant upgrades
• Maintaining accurate maintenance records
• Ensuring compliance with site safety, hygiene and quality standards

About You

We're looking for someone who enjoys solving mechanical problems and takes pride in delivering high-quality maintenance work.

You'll have:

• Trade qualification as a Fitter & Turner, Mechanical Fitter or equivalent
• At least 3 years' experience in a manufacturing maintenance environment
• Experience within food manufacturing (highly regarded)
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of preventative maintenance programs
• Experience working within GMP and HACCP environments (preferred)
• A proactive attitude with a strong commitment to workplace safety
• The ability to work independently and within a close-knit maintenance team
