The Role
As an Industrial Electrician, you'll play a vital role in ensuring production equipment and electrical systems operate safely and efficiently while minimising downtime across the site.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing preventative and breakdown maintenance on production equipment
- Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults across manufacturing machinery
- Installing, maintaining and testing electrical systems and equipment
- Supporting continuous improvement projects to increase plant reliability
- Working closely with the maintenance and production teams
- Ensuring all work complies with safety, quality and food manufacturing standards
- Maintaining accurate maintenance records and documentation
About You
To be successful in this role, you'll bring:
- A current Electrical Licence
- Previous experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Experience with preventative maintenance programs
- PLC fault-finding experience (highly regarded)
- Exposure to food manufacturing or FMCG environments (advantageous)
- Knowledge of GMP and HACCP standards (preferred)
- A proactive attitude and commitment to workplace safety
- The ability to work both independently and within a team
