Project Manager - Concrete Structures | Tier-3 Commercial Projects

Lead the concrete component of Melbourne's commercial builds with a trusted, long-established contractor.

Are you a hands-on Project Manager with solid experience in concrete structures or formwork delivery? Our client, a respected and long-standing commercial concrete subcontractor, is seeking an experienced professional to oversee the delivery of concrete works on commercial and industrial projects ranging from $1M to $7M.

This is not cradle-to-grave project management - it's a targeted leadership role in the concrete delivery phase. You'll coordinate everything from set-out to final pour while leading teams, resolving challenges, and working closely with builders and developers across Melbourne.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Manage the delivery of concrete works including formwork, reinforcement, and concrete placement

• Coordinate with foremen, subcontractors, and site supervisors across multiple projects

• Interpret drawings, manage set-out, and oversee on-site logistics and sequencing

• Forecast materials, labour, and equipment needs to avoid project delays

• Work closely with external stakeholders to resolve construction issues or scope changes

• Monitor project progress, risk, and cost outcomes - reporting directly to the Director

• Drive a culture of safety and accountability on-site, aligned to ISO standards

What You'll Bring:

• Strong experience in commercial concrete or structural formwork projects

• Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a similar role

• Relevant qualifications in Construction, Civil Engineering, or related field

• Ability to read and interpret technical plans and specifications

• Skilled in coordinating construction teams and subcontractors

• Familiarity with construction software and solid reporting/documentation skills

• Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving capabilities
