About the Role
Seeking an Accounts Receivable Officer to join a powerful Sports Apparel Division. This hands-on role is key to managing credit control and invoicing processes, ensuring accuracy and integrity across all AR activities.
You'll work closely with the sports sales team who are highly motivated sports minded people and finance colleagues to support smooth operations and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end credit control process for the Sports division
- Manage invoicing, receipting, allocations, and reconciliations
- Handle payment queries and resolve discrepancies efficiently
- Conduct daily uploads of bank files (EFTPOS, Cash, Direct Credit)
- Apply receipts to weekly invoicing and perform bank statement uploads
- Ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely processing within the AR function
- Liaise with internal teams to support business outcomes
About You
You are a motivated, detail-oriented finance professional who thrives in a dynamic environment. If you have been or worked with professional athletes previously you will understand the drive behind the culture of this team. You'll bring initiative, accuracy, and a collaborative attitude to our growing team.
To be successful, you'll have:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in an Accounts Receivable role
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Excellent numerical, analytical, and keyboard skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy under pressure
- Experience in high-volume environments
- A team-first mindset with a commitment to results and continuous improvement
- Experience in the apparel or sports industry (Preferred)
Additional Requirements
- Valid Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- Agree too or have a National Police Check
