About the Role
As Accountant, you'll play a key role in supporting the financial performance of the site through reporting, analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and commercial finance activities.
This is a varied and hands-on role that offers exposure well beyond traditional accounting, allowing you to contribute to operational improvements and strategic business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Month-end reporting, journals, and reconciliations
- Budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Preparation of audit and statutory reporting packs
- Pricing support and excise reporting
- Accounts receivable and commercial finance support
- Cost analysis and operational reporting
- Identifying process improvements and strengthening financial controls
- Partnering with operational teams to drive business performance
About You
You may be an experienced Accountant looking for broader exposure, or someone ready to take the next step into a more commercially focused role.
You'll bring:
- Degree qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce
- CPA, CA, or CIMA qualifications (or currently studying)
- Strong Excel skills, with SAP experience highly regarded
- Experience in reporting, budgeting, forecasting, or commercial finance
- Manufacturing, industrial, or cost accounting experience advantageous
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships across the business
