Job Details

Our client is a dynamic and innovative company in the creative space, looking for an enthusiastic Account Manager to join their thriving retail division.

You'll play a key role in supporting retail clients across Melbourne - training teams, managing relationships, and helping designers and consultants confidently showcase their beautiful, custom products.

You'll be the go-to person for product expertise, account performance insights, and making sure everything runs smoothly - from point-of-sale materials to training and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow retail accounts across your assigned territory
  • Visit stores regularly to support sales teams and build strong, lasting relationships
  • Provide tailored training and resources to interior designers and consultants
  • Ensure all POS and sample materials are up to date and in excellent condition
  • Respond quickly to quote requests and client queries
  • Troubleshoot order or product issues in collaboration with internal teams
  • Maintain accurate data in the CRM and support sales reporting
  • Track sales performance and conversion metrics
  • Onboard and train new retail partners

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • A current driver's license and your own reliable vehicle for store visits (Claim KM's)
  • A warm, engaging personality with the confidence to build trust fast
  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail
  • Quick to learn and adapt - especially when it comes to technical product info
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A data-driven mindset with the ability to spot trends and opportunities
  • High level of computer literacy, especially with CRM and reporting tools
  • Previous experience in retail, interior design, or home improvement is a plus
  • A "can-do" attitude - always ready to pitch in and solve problems with a smile
