About the Role

We're looking for a 2nd or 3rd year Diesel Mechanic to join the team. This role is perfect for someone who wants hands-on experience, skill development, and the chance to work on a variety of heavy commercial vehicles.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm
Rate: $30-$32 per hour + Super

Role Responsibilities

• Assist with servicing, maintenance, and repairs on trucks, buses, vans, and heavy vehicles
• Learn to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults under guidance
• Complete inspections to manufacturer and safety standards
• Maintain accurate service records and help keep the workshop tidy and safe
• Work as part of a team while developing practical skills

About You

• Trade qualification in progress or 2nd/3rd year Diesel Mechanic apprentice
• Some experience with trucks, buses, or heavy vehicles is an advantage
• Motivated, reliable, and eager to learn
• Pride in workmanship and willingness to follow guidance
• Team player with good communication skills
