Job Details

We are currently seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist to join this dynamic team based in Orange, New South Wales. The successful candidate will provide evidence-based assessment, intervention, and support to clients to promote independence and participation in daily life activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of clients' functional abilities, activities of daily living (ADLs), sensory and cognitive skills, and environmental factors.
  • Developing and implementing individualised therapy plans that promote meaningful participation in everyday activities.
  • Recommending and facilitating the provision of assistive technology, home modifications, and adaptive strategies to enhance independence and safety.
  • Collaborating effectively with clients, families, carers, and other health professionals to provide coordinated and holistic care.
  • Preparing high-quality clinical documentation, reports, and funding submissions (e.g: NDIS).
  • Participating in professional development, and quality improvement activities.
  • Working collaboratively with the team to build up the practice

Selection Criteria:

  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy.
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Demonstrated knowledge and application of person-centred, evidence-based occupational therapy interventions.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Current Working with Children Check, National Police Check, and valid Driver's Licence.
  • Understanding of NDIS supports and services
  • Experience working with clients under NDIS, mental health, or rehabilitation frameworks.
  • Knowledge of Australian standards for home modifications and assistive technology.
  • Experience using digital health platforms and clinical management software.
